The Vein Treatment Center brings new developments in vein
care to patients in 2004. Used in combination or alone, these
treatments promise safe and effective results for all patients
with vein problems.
Endolaser
was developed at the VTC as a minimally invasive alternative
to surgery for patients with large varicose veins. In distinct
contrast to traditional ligation and stripping, Endolaser
requires no general anesthesia, hospital stay, or recovery
time.
Foam Sclerotherapy
delivers precise results to patients with medium-sized varicose
veins. Foam displaces venous blood and can be easily guided
via ultrasound imaging to the source of the venous problem.
Glycerin Sclerotherapy
has improved the treatment of small spider veins and broken
capillaries. As the glycerin-based solution only irritates
the inside of vessels, patients rarely develop redness or
bruising in their treatment areas.

We’ve revamped our website! Visitors to veintreatmentcenter.com
can now choose between ‘flash’ and ‘html’
versions of the site. Both sites contain the same reliable
medical information and regularly updated “What’s
New” page.

Women generally suffer from vein problems at a rate 15 to
20 times greater than men; however, men are more likely to
have large problem veins. Although the number of patients
pursuing surgical ligation and stripping tends to reflect
this proportion, the number of men choosing Endolaser has
increased by more than 300%. Men prefer the ease and comfort
of Endolaser and appreciate that it requires no downtime from
work.

Q:
What is the best time to seek treatment for varicose veins?
A: Varicose
veins and spider veins are progressive conditions. Without
treatment, their cumulative nature will make current vein
problems worse and increase the likelihood that new vein problems
will develop. Consequently, patients are encouraged to seek
treatment early. Likewise, we encourage patients to plan ahead
for their treatment, as many modalities require multiple sessions
to achieve desired results. |
